"Scream for Me" is one messed up film, done with great style. Another well rounded great thriller from indie film director Christopher Alan Broadstone. I don't know where to begin, "Scream for Me" is disturbing, and it's one of those films that will make you very uneasy.

It is a short film only about 22 mins. long. It starts off with a kid choking a beautiful girl to death, and then reviving her. However when he finally kills her and is about to do what it is he was going to do to her body, another man appears in the room and begins to beat the shit out of the young killer. What we don't know is that our young killer has just come face to face with one of the most fucked up serial killers out there. Well rather than give the rest of the story away, the film takes a turning point for the worse for our young killer, and what happens is something so disturbing that you don't know if you should feel bad for him or not. But you won't be able to take your eyes off the screen, I'll guarantee that one.

The script and story are just straight up no holds barred, it's not sugarcoated. Director Christopher Alan Broadstone really hits you hard with the story and the horror that takes place.  In terms of directing it's yet again another flawless film from Christopher Alan Broadstone, Everything from the mood, to set design, nothing but great story telling.

The Acting, hell Tony Simmons gives one hell of a performance as "The Madman". He is one scary son of a bitch. The guy can play any part thrown at him. Can someone just hand this man an Oscar already.  The other actors were great as well. How a girl can just lay there and not blink her eyes and stay lifeless for each shot, while a naked guy is running around her is beyond me. And Gabriel Sigal, hats off to you man, only great actors will let shit like that happen to them.

Overall, "Scream for Me' is a film that takes serial killer thrillers to a whole new level. It is psychologically scary. It will mess with your mind and take you for one hell of a rollercoaster ride. Everyone do yourselves a favor and visit the Black Cab Productions website (Link Above) and buy the DVD.

MY SKIN!

I don't know what to say, I am simply blown away by all three films that indie film director Christopher Alan Broadstone sent my way. You my friend are a fucking genius and should be making films for a studio.  Some might say that I am a bit easy towards indie filmmakers and their low budget films, however only someone with no sense of great horror could give any of his films bad reviews.  It's certain to say that for the hour I spent watching all of Chris's films that all of them are by far some of the best films I have reviewed this year. Once again there is someone that Hollywood really needs to look into investing their money in. Anyway on with my review....

"My Skin" may start off for some as a bit confusing, you might not know what's going on at first. But what is so breathtaking about this film is the style and the photography, the shots used will just suck you right in. The fall and effect from the story are just plain brilliant.

Now I really don't want to give the story away as "My Skin" is only about 13mins long. But it is by far one of the best short films I have ever seen in my life.  A lot of work and dedication was put into the script, and it shows big time.

As far as acting goes, and yes I'm going to praise the shit out of someone again, and you know what every filmmaker should pay close attention to this. One name says it all and this guy seems to be in all of Chris' films. TONY SIMMONS the guy is one of the best actors I've seen in a long time.  The guy is brilliant.

Overall get your hands on the DVD; you're a fool if you don't. I can't express it enough how great all the films are on this DVD.

HUMAN NO MORE

"Human No More" another film by Christopher Alan Broadstone is a bit darker than his other short films. The film is shown though the eyes of a demon as he watches one of the stronger souls on earth choice his destiny after losing his family. The film kind of reminded me of a mix between "The Exorcist" and "Fallen".  However it's more on the lines of being a great film like "The Exorcist" than it is to "Fallen".

The film is another short film by Chris, and it's done with a great artistic form, and great writing. It only has one actor in the whole film and it has a message about good and evil and choosing one or the other. It deals with faith in a fucked up world. I'm a big fan of mythology and religion so I knew where Chris was coming from with trying to get his message across. The ending says it all and I think that's what made the film for me.

There is not much in the way of effects, except maybe for the eyes of the entity your watching though. Although we do have a little blood and a heart that look real. So the effects are believable.  As far as acting goes, we yet again are graced with the great acting of Tony Simmons.

Overall another great film from Christopher Alan Broadstone, now will someone give him a big budget to make a feature film with.
