Born in Oklahoma City and raised in Dallas, Texas, Christopher Alan Broadstone is an independent writer and filmmaker living in Los Angeles, California. Serving as writer, director, and editor, he has produced three short films to date, SCREAM FOR ME (Best Short Film 2003: NYC Horror Film Festival, Best Underground Short 2004: B-Independent.com), MY SKIN (Best Horror Short 2003: A.K.A Shriekfest [L.A.], Best Film/Director: Cinema Edge Awards 2004), and HUMAN NO MORE (Best Horror Short 2005: The Indie Gathering Film Festival [OH]). Also he has completed two feature length screenplays, LOVE ME, an erotic ghost story, and, with actor/writer John Franklin, RETARD (Best Horror Feature Screenplay 2004: A.K.A Shriekfest). A musician in a past life, C.A. Broadstone has toured and recorded independent records and CDs with his bands ABOUT 9 TIMES and THE JUDAS ENGINE. He has recently published his first horror novel, PUZZLEMAN, and is currently working with producer Christopher Webster (HELLRAISER I & II, HEATHERS) to make his first feature, RETARD, which he will also direct.
